OIL PAINTING OF OLD FASHION ROSE IN A CLEAR VASE

OLD FASHION ROSE
6 x 6 OIL ON PANEL
SOLD
I have this shrub rose in my front yard. I love them because they are white, pink and coral.
I painted this one from life and it started wilting before my very eyes. They must be called old fashioned crepe roses because they look like crepe in a very short time! It was completely shriveled the next day but the bud was in full bloom.

I like this one. You captured the petals on the flower beautifully, and the translucence of the water and vase are great. I always love all the color in your paintings!
