OIL PAINTING OF SUNFLOWERS IN A GLASS VASE

SUNFLOWERS IN A GLASS VASE
6 X 6 OIL ON PANEL
I really enjoyed painting and visiting with other artist at the Foley Performing Art Center today. Painting these flowers was a real challenge as the photo I used did not have any interesting dark shapes. That's my excuse anyway, and I am sticking with it!

Wow Elizabeth-this is a jewel. So much information on such a small canvas!

This reminds me of my friend Liz who always has some flowers in a small vase--love the impressionism.
