OIL PAINTING OF OLIVES WITH TOOTHPICKS

OLIVES
7 X 5 OIL ON PANEL
It's always fun to paint reflective surfaces. I like all the colors adjacent to each other in the toothpicks

The reflections are fantastic and even your olives have beautiful colors. I like your composition, too. Very nice painting, Elizabeth!

I am curious about the container the tooth picks are in. Is it a toothpick holder? I love the colorful toothpicks. They are ready for a party.

Your kind comments are most appreciated!!

Carol, I don't know exactly what the real function of the little silver container is. I bought two of these from an antiques shop, They have small hinged handles on them that you can't see in the painting.
