OIL PAINTING OF BOWL WITH FRUIT AND FLOWERS

A QUIET MOMENT
16 X 10 OIL ON GESSOED D'ARCHES PAPER
I did this still life painting a while back and have never posted it on my blog. I like it even tho it is not as loosely done as I usually paint. I was really fond of this fruit bowl with it's rooster motif, but it is unfortunately no longer with us.

First your drawing is great. Love the color, especially all the blue.

Gorgeous painting! The composition is great, and all the details are beautiful. I think there must be a story behind the demise of the bowl.
