PASTEL PORTRAIT SKETCH

PASTEL ON CANSON PAPER

This sketch was done at the Thursday model session in Foley at the Art Center.  The model sits for about 2 hours.

I have not painted with pastels in a while and it takes some getting used to after using oils.

   A lot of paint with the palette knife was used on this little jewel giving this oil painting a nice sparkle.
