RAGING RED ROOSTER

I think this old rooster has been locked out of the hen house!   I went to the Foley Feed Store where the owner Wyman Franks aka Festus Muleskinner, raises all kinds of exotic chickens, birds and other farm animals.  I had been meaning to stop there for quiet some time as they have fresh eggs and sell baby chicks too.  It was fun visiting and I will be back for more eggs and more photos.  They are practically in downtown Foley, Alabama on 65 a block from highway 98.

It was stormy all day here and I finally gave up on painting. I got a good start on one before it got too dark in the sun room to paint. When it starts lightening I unplug everything electronic as we seem to get a lot of lightening hits here.

This rooster painting is one I did a while back. Why is it that rooster and chicken paintings always make you smile?
