JUMPING FOR JOY! OIL PAINTING COMMISSION

I really like the gesture of these children jumping into the water.  This painting is an oil portrait commission, that will bring  years of  pleasant memories to mind. 

While painting this, I paid attention to the negative space to relate the proportions of the figures to each other.

I used more grays, warm against cool in this figurative beach study. The use of more muted color is quiet a contrast to the previous painting, where I painted with more intense color.
