Aren't these little newly hatched chicks  the cutest!!   They were only one day old when I photographed them at the Foley Feed Store.   Lots of exotic birds in this store on county road 65 one half block south of 98 in Foley, Alabama.

I guess I'll have to declare this chicken week! These are more of the chickens that were in our neighbor Bob's coop. This was a lot of fun to paint. I had to keep it loose and simple as the light was behind the chickens and there was very little detail to be seen in the photos.
