Until I started putting up a bird feeder several years ago, I had never seen a house finch. Then I found out they are everywhere! And they have a beautiful song.
Beautiful bird. The neutrals in the body stand out well against the colorful Blaylock background.
love your paintings. this finch looks as if it were fixin to fly off the page and the water in the jar of flowers looks so real. waves~~~
