This is my 3rd pastel painting and I miss the magic of my rich creamy oils!! I have about decided against taking pastels to Carmel. for the paint-out. Maybe I will buy some oil paints there or just take a much needed vacation and forget the painting. I do plan on taking tons of photos for new reference material. I will probably not post for a week but please come back to see me. Even tho, I don't always reply to comments, I so appreciate your input. By the time I get thru painting and posting each day this senior citizen is totally exhausted.. .I did find out that my thyroid is not functioning right so hoping the meds will help there.

Thank you so much!!!! I have backed out of doing the paint-out because oils are my true love and they so much trouble to travel with for a short trip. Just call me a lazy chicken. ...And Carol tell us about your trip to Italy will yah!
